2016-09-01 - Version 1.6.3 -
released with PCAN-Explorer 5.4.1

Improvements:

  • Some code optimizations.

Bug fixes:

  • Prevention of internal access violations caused by parallel access to transmit sessions.
  • Transport protocol read session were refused by sending a TCPM.Abort message even if the connection was in monitoring mode and/or the claimed address did not correspond to the incoming request.

2015-09-30 - Version 1.6.0 - released with PCAN-Explorer 5.4.0

Improvements:

  • Sending multipacket broadcast messages is now possible without having to claim an address

Bug fixes:

  • Received messages could have wrong timestamps that would appear in the PCAN-Explorer tracer as very large values
  • A J1939 connection responded to a received RQST for PGN 60928 (Address Claimed, ACM) even if the RQST was a peer-to-peer request directed to a different destination address

2012-11-12 - Version 1.4.3 - released with PCAN-Explorer 5.3.1

Improvements:

2012-09-06 - Version 1.4.2 - released with PCAN-Explorer 5.3.0

Bug fixes:

  • In Peer-to-Peer transport protocol sessions sometimes an access violation error occurred
  • Object model: Some object properties could not be accessed by VBS macros, the properties used data types that were not Automation-compatible
  • Object model: The method J1939Node.GetSystemTime() incorrectly returned its value in an output parameter instead of a return value, so the method could not be called in a VBS macro
